Gumbo Ya-Ya moored at the Oakland Yacht Club in Alameda, California on an
atypical thunder shower California day.

We left the boat in Alameda and took an Amtrak train to Sacramento
for a few days to visits family and friends. Here Nancy is working on a
quilt while enjoying a glass of Chardonnay.

While on the train, we happened to pass by the first printshop that Kurt ever worked at -
"The Printer", in Davis California.

Yep, we had some fun while in Sacratomatoe. We attended our good friend,
Susan Horton's 50th birthday bash. Here, the Skipper, Jon Maloney,
Ken Horton and Nancy's brother Bob get down with their bad selves.

After returning from Sacramento, we moved Gumbo Ya-Ya to a mooring
on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay.

This a view of Ayala Cove on Angel Island from the trail to the top of Mt. Livermore.

Here's a shot of the First Mate, updating her log on a MACINTOSH computer!

Another picture of some dolphins following us along as we sailed from San Francisco to Santa Cruz.

Here's a picture of Gumbo Ya-Ya tied up to the Morro Bay Yacht Club guest dock.
That's Morro Rock in the background.

A couple of big ol' concrete titties at Point Buchan, just south of Morro Bay.
(Actually, its a nuclear power plant with a strictly enforced security zone that we, of course, didn't breach.)

And here's another shot of Gumbo - this time moored happily in Santa Barbara.
The First Mate was particularly glad to get here. She says (once again), "That's the
LAST time I do the trip from Neah Bay to Santa Barbara!"
