After departing Lamen Bay on Epi, we sailed to Port Sandwich
on Malekula Island. This is a view of shore from our boat.

Just across the bay was the wreck of an old cargo ship. We don't know what the story behind it was.

Immediately upon anchoring in this bay, we were approached by Ezekiel,
who invited us to his house for church services the following morning.
Here, we, along with Bob and Becky from "Stardust", are being guided to his house.

Ezekiel is quite a character. He has pretty much ordained himself
as a minister and preaches every Sunday at 9:00am SHARP to his family.
After the service a meal is served. Notice the medal that Ezekiel puts on whenever he gives a service.

This is Ezekiel's wife, along with the First Mate and Becky,
who are showing off the fresh veggies we were given.

This is a view of Ezekiel's farm from atop the hill where he grows his coconut palms.

They grow BIG poinsettias here!

This is the copra drying oven in Ezekiel's backyard.

A shot of Ezekiel's "congregation".

We took our dinghy about a mile or so down the harbor to visit
the small town and the French grammar school. The kids here REALLY wanted their picture taken.

Vanuatu was the scene of alot of World War II activity.
Here is what is left of a fighter that crashed on the reef.
The more mechanically-inclined of you will be able to tell that this is the motor.

And here is one of the plane's wings. We could tell by the hinges
that this wing folded up and must have come off a plane that landed on aircraft carriers.
